When most people think of cardio exercises, they think some kind of boring, steady-state exercise such as cycling, rowing or running. And more often than not, they think they need some type of expensive equipment such as a bicycle, rowing or tape for a good heart and lung workout. But, as you go see, all you need is your own body and an interval training program on body weight.

First, I do not like the term "cardio". I like to think this type of training as the formation of the Energy System. I mean by this improve the way your body uses nutrients for physical activity strenuous. Because this process is based primarily on the heart and lungs that is what most people focus on.

But the fact is, an activity that pumping the heart and increases your breathing rate is a "cardio" exercise. So, doing intervals of body weight at a rapid pace is also a "cardio" training when done correctly. I would like to emphasize that doing intervals of body weight is composed of a variety of bodyweight exercises is best for improve heart and appendices, the elimination of stubborn fat and building a muscular body.

Bodyweight What is interval training?

One way to do this type of training is to take only 3-4 bodyweight exercises and do 10 repetitions of each exercise back to back as a circuit. Do not take breaks between exercises. Continue for a specified period of time … say 10-15 minutes. Sounds simple, right?

This is what is happening. You must choose the body weight exercises so that stresses your entire body. Therefore, an upper body exercise, lower body and core. As you go through the training, the whole body comes into play (in place or just the legs, like running or nutrients and lungs need more oxygen and its heart has to deliver the oxygen and other nutrients. The entire energy system is taxed … and that's what has to happen to make improvements.

I you will find, like me, that interval training is higher body weight for resistance increasing activities in the real world. Your body makes changes specific according to the specific demands placed on it. So when run, to improve performance. Unfortunately, when you do other activities, see that they are unprepared. Using a series of bodyweight exercises not only trains every muscle in your body … but his heart and lungs too.

In place of the next session of boring cardio, try interval training body weight instead. It not only be more fun, but more effective in helping to increase the power of the heart and lungs, burn fat and build an attractive body. Bu be prevented, will not be able to watch TV or read a magazine while doing this exercise!
