It's rugged construction and trouble-free design. Now, granted, the Airdynes are light on electronics. Very little computer power comes with them. But with the simple design, it there is almost nothing to tear. You get a machine that is no problem. In 20 years of use, my bike needs nothing except batteries for the timer. That's it.
Look, these bikes can take heavy use. But this is a nice bike to drive. The resistance comes from turning a fan tall and old. Now that makes little noise, no doubt. But it's also a refreshing breeze.
And since you can pump your arms and pedal with legs, it is easy to fight against boredom. Because you can always move workouts around. You can repel boredom. This is the key to sticking to a program of fitness exercise bike. Defend your boredom.
